Presentation of the Faculty
The Faculty of Letters and Languages is one of the constituent faculties of Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla, established by Executive Decree No. 13-100 of March 14, 2013, which amended and supplemented Executive Decree No. 01-210 of July 23, 2001, regarding the establishment of the University of Ouargla.
The Faculty of Letters and Languages was established by Decision No. 945 of December 5, 2013, which amended and supplemented Decision No. 319 of December 3, 2009, regarding the establishment of the departments within the Faculty of Letters and Languages at the University of Ouargla. Previously, it was part of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
The Faculty of Letters and Languages consists of the following departments:
- Department of Arabic Language and Literature
- Department of French Language and Literature
- Department of English Language and Literature
